Bentwood Nursery was founded by Charlie Baucom in 1995 after graduating from North Carolina State University with a Horticulture Management Degree. The nursery first started out on a 20 acre farm and has expanded to a 146 acre operation. Our specialties are the following, Ground Cover, Annuals, Hemerocallis, Perennials, Ornamental Grasses, and Container Shrubs. The sizes we offer are from a Bare Root to a 30 Gallon Container.

Jason Allen joined the business and became a partner in 2004 and started his primary focus building our container shrub business and now is experienced in the production of all our plant material.

Bentwood Nurseries home office is based in Monroe North Carolina. Our second growing facility is located in Morven North Carolina which houses 90% of our Shrub material
